Trim your wick! to 1/8" before every burn. It is especially important to trim the wick before the first burn. You can use wick trimmers, nail clippers or break with your fingers.

The first burn must be long enough for the wax to melt fully across the top. This may take as long as 4-4.5 hours, so pour a glass of wine, grab a good book and get cozy!

Avoid burning for longer than 4-4.5 hours at a time. Place candle on a heat resistant surface, away from flammable materials, and away from drafts.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
